Who would you like to see play live?

Discussion in 'Miscellaneous [BG]' started by alexssandro, Jul 7, 2001.

  1. Out of someone you've never seen before, and this person has to be around today. (so no Jaco ;))

I'd like to see Victor Bailey (something that focuses on his playing; not with Madonna!).

I'd also like to see George Benson. I'd like to hear him play like he did back in the day - bebop and endless funk jams in F#7. :)

I'm honored to be considered a peer of those guys, although I am certain I don't deserve it.

Oh, and on the topic (;) ), I've managed to miss Vic Wooten at least 5 times, every one due to conflicts with my own gig schedule! :( One day, I really want to see him....I'm sure I'll quit afterwards! :D

(Thankfully, you don't need chops and talent in such copious amounts to get gigs! )
  13. your gig with puente just sounds like something i'd like to see. i don't have enough exposure to *decent* latin music...
  14. To be very honest.. i'd love to see myself play live... </ego>
