Who wrote this song?

    that might be a bit off, but are there any country fans here who know who wrote that?
  2. I think the song was recorded by the band Alabama. I am not 100% sure who wrote it though.

    Yeah, it was on Alabama's 1989 release, Southern Star. I couldn't find a songwriting credit for it either.

    It's probably safe to say they actually wrote it, as I think most country singers back then actually wrote their own stuff. ;)

  5. Don't be so sure. Third-party songwriters have been a major part of country music since the '50s.
