I used to own this (I think I got it from Nick Man), the Black J w/ Basslines pickups. I totally forgot what happened to it (same with probably all my basses)... Just wondering where it went and what it's up to. I loved that J.

Did he refinish it in Fiesta Red? I'd love to see what it looks like now.

I hope not. Valenti's are so popular around here, I'm sure it will be worth something someday.

Oops, I meant to say "didn't he refinish it in Fiesta Red?"
Strange, I could've sworn I read somewhere on the forums that he was going to have it refinished.

A very nice bass. Gotta love matching headstocks!

  12. Could we have the Valenti basses listed in order. Its a tall order I know, and would require a lot of postings but there is a lot of interest in Valenti basses here to justify that.

It wouldn't fall foul of advertising rules here on TB because I'm asking (begging) for it.

His avatar still shows it in the original color.

I really need to get Nino to build a bass for me. P-body, passive pickups, jazz neck. Yum.......

Yeah I'm going to take issue here and ask for some clarification regarding the initial post. Is the request to see the bass that bears the serial number 001 or to see the first bass that bears the name "Valenti" on the headstock?

Of course I'm only raising this issue because my Valenti does not have a serial number nor the trademark Valenti headstock design.

Nino, can I have a new headstock decal with serial number
    "-001"?
