Come on, give it up. Who is (or was) your favorite super-hero, and why? Superman? Batman? Wonder Woman? Any of the X-Men? Storm perhaps? Jubilee? The Fantastic Four?

Batman because he is living proof that money can buy anything. I mean really what kind of super hero is he? what powers does he have? a belt and a sweet set of wheels? woohoo!

none... from back as far as my memory allows my heroes were musicians. Starting with my Grandfather (guitarist from the age of 9) and moving up through pop, rock, r&b and jazz greats.

I don't think I ever bought a comic book of my own... I spent the money and reading time on "Guitar Player". Then I got Bass Player sent to my home starting with the premier issue. Before the music mags and concurrent with them for a while I was an avid Scout and had about 10 years worth of "Sports Afield".

  7. I was always fond of batman for the fact he didn't need any superpowers...just a man with a devil may care attitude and deep pockets.

I always liked Captain America too :D

Yeah, we can take this to its limits. How about Underdog? Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse? :D

    Don't say "my dad", 'cause that's a "real-life" hero.

The thrust of the question is about "super-powers", and which ones you'd like to have. :D

well I do feel the ability to create music a super power :smug:

and your question was "Who is your Favorite"

if you want to know what super power I think trumps all.... that would be to control time :bassist:

    It's a toss up.

Batman is really cool, because anybody with some money and a commitment to some physical training could be him.

Spiderman is cool, mostly because I had always identified with Peter Parker. But I also really like his super powers, and his wisecracking while kicking the bad guys butt.

I was always a big fan of Gambit. Being a geek, I thought his power of turning the potential energy in objects into kinetic energy so they'd explode was super-cool.

Tough one. Pretty close between Iron Man, War Machine, Spiderman, and Captain America.

Well, I was writing a long list of favorites since I was a BIG comics and animated TV series fan in my childhood, but from this point of view, definitely Spider Man. In fact, I feel really envious of Toby McGuire because he incarnated my favorite hero. Nicholas Hammond did it many years ago, but that was a cheesy movie IMO.
