    It's simply survival of the fittest. Ugly, or stupid bass players get caught in the tar pits and meet a grizzly end.

  5. I'd say it's kind of an enigma...best looking and smartest, but least paid attention to... But bless a lady that loves bass players, they're usually the same way.

    My girlfriend got hit on at a gig. She said 'The bass player is my girlfriend'. Fabio lookalike says 'So you are looking for some company'.

    That's easy, it is not because we're specially smart and good looking... It is because the usual guitarist/drummer/vocalist is ugly and, specially stupid AF.... xD

    Definitely, can not say I am good looking. In high school, I was 2nd ugliest senior. That honor went to a friend of mine john h.
    My school then pitted seniors against juniors and sophmores to determine ugliest man on campus, since John won, that made me 4th ugliest.
    Then in college, I found out my ACT scores were two point lower than average.
    I guess not all us bassists can meet the high standards set at TB, ( another down side , I test positive for TB)
