I'm just curious. I'd write more, but I have to get back to work.
You want an "atta boy"....maybe???
Good work son??
Keep it up....??
A pat on the back??
Any of those ok???
Want some 7 against 4 melodic minor mode exercises in all 12 keys?
Because I can't get motivated...
With gigs cancelled for the foreseeable future, I’m wondering why am I practicing?
....Cuz reading the news is too depressing, and looking at porn is too labor intensive?
I haven’t picked up my bass in a month. No practice or gigs to look forward to. What’s the point?
Is this a trick question? Is there some zen lesson to be learned?
I retired and have plenty of time for both.
Why am I not practicing?
Well, not to brag, but just yesterday I achieved total perfection. So there's really no point anymore.
Because my significant other is complaining about how much I AM practicing!
Truthfully? Right now at this very moment, I'm waiting on our build system to compile, test, and run my code for a pull request that needs to be approved by my team. So I'm waiting, and I'm bored.
Have been practicing though!
I thought this was kind of like practicing?
I'm actually at work, because my employer considers us life-critical, so we get to stay open. I'd rather be practicing but replying to this thread will have to do for now.
This is how I do it...
Because I'm on a work phone call. A work phone call plus browsing TB plus practicing just seems a bit much.
Oops I have to go!
because I am working...…...
For the same reason that I am here instead of having dinner. I come here when I want to spend time checking out a bass forum. When it's time for practice, I don't come here, I go practice.
I don't understand. Is it a trick question?
