Why does Japan store have all the good stock?

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by PinkFloydDan, Jan 1, 2006.

  1. I found this Web site: http://guitarjapan.com/

They have some great model basses. Why doesn't anyone in the US have these for sale?

Anyone know of any national stores that would sell these type of fender basses?

It seems like they have some special models. I just cannot fathom spending the $150 to ship it to me if I can find it in the US.

Because they keep all the good stuff for themselves.

Same thing with their electronic gadgets. They're 5 years ahead over there.

I can buy an SX for the cost of shipping ;)
    For that P-Bass...It's tempting.
Then again, it would probably be less for a DIY from warmoth.

They have all the good stuff, because fender USA won't sell there stuff in the US.
This has been going on for years.
If we had that kind options, we would not buy fender USA.

  18. Dudes, you guys in the US you don't have anything to complain about. Here in Belgium you don't have any store with allot to offer. Just some small stores with some basic new fenders or some bigger shops where they also only have some fenders, squiers, if you're lucky 1 none-basic bass. (Not that I'm saying fenders are off, they rock, have a '77 Precision myselve, but the choice is really small) You guys have really big shops too.. I'ld love to go to one and check out 52348951 different basses :hyper:
