Actually, I don't mind that all that much. The color is bad, but if I can stand the colors of the Hoppus basses, I can stand this. Now, I wanna know how the thing sounds.
wow.....it certainly is "WEIRD" huh? Actually, I don't mind it that much either, sort of like a fretless VOX, if you like that sort of thing. Doesn't look like it'd be that comfy to play, but it'd be sort of a unique thing to have around. If I had a hundred bucks to blow I'd get it.
I believe that that bass is a Webley-Vickers "Spudnut"- a terrific player's bass made famous by Hendrix's first bass player Jim Shortz. I had the pleasure of grooving on one of these fine instruments a few years back. There is nothing like them and Roger Sadowsky reportedly copped a few ideas off this masterpiece...
its WEIRD, very very WEIRD WEIRD WILD STUFF... WEIRD, almost as WEIRD as the WEIRDEST bass ever created
Maybe they were goin' for something like this "`57 Chevy Bel-Air" bass?... {} Seems the scale of the body / fin got a little outta' control
Now this is even scarier http://www.talkbass.com/forum/showthread.php?s=9f13e3dd041c He actually bought that thing I gotta admit it kinda has this WEIRD thing going
