Why music is so great

Discussion in 'Off Topic [DB]' started by Bethelbass1, Feb 5, 2006.

  1. The Super Bowl this year really affirmed my belieff that music is better than sports. For starters, music doesn't have any officials making judgement calls; the performance is based solely on the ability of the musicians. I find it hard to watch a football game or any sporting event where the officals make calls that influence the score or change momentum based on unimportant fouls. The fouls were very lopsided and made it seem that the Steelers had dominated the game whereas the Seahawks truly did have most of the best stats at the end of the game :scowl:. Well... maybe I'm wrong but I don't worry about my musical performance being ruined by someone else so, in my mind, that makes music much more enjoyable. (that and I'm too uncoordinated to play sports;).

I have to admit that I was impressed with Jagger. An older guy in his sixties, dancing around like he's twenty, in tight pants no less. He's right, it truly is the singer, not the song.
  3. Hey, if you wore pants that tight, you might do some prancing too.
