wich combo for home

    i am looking to buy a combo wich will get well with sting ray and five stringer with bartolini electronic and i can play it at home and small gigs.
    i must choose btw : ashdown mag 2x10 300w combo
    warwick sweet 15 150 w combo
    hartke kick back 1x15 120w combo
    which combo would u choose.
    i like EBS like sound but EBS is too expensive

    what is budget for new amp?

    edit: other choices Yorkville 400 watt combos: 210t. It is about 600 and has a tube in the pre and seem that TB people like it.

    May even like GK/Peavey combos too if you like bright MM sounds.
  5. Ashdown has a unique sound very similar to Trace Elliot and thats could be a easy wrong choice unless you are a rocker type.
    Warwick seems to be be my pick but I think you would need to see more than these 3. SWR black beauty and Ampeg 115h are my choice for a standard small combo.

    Just a heads-up...
    If money is a problem check out these Hartke's on the Sam Ash website. The 1410 2x10 and the 1415 1x15 - both 140 watts. They're going for $279 ea. Not a bad deal. I'm seriously considering the 1415 for a small jam and backup combo.
