    I'll second that! :)

  4. Ashdown.
what is budget for new amp?

edit: other choices Yorkville 400 watt combos: 210t. It is about 600 and has a tube in the pre and seem that TB people like it.

May even like GK/Peavey combos too if you like bright MM sounds.

  5. Ashdown has a unique sound very similar to Trace Elliot and thats could be a easy wrong choice unless you are a rocker type.
    Hartke???
Warwick seems to be be my pick but I think you would need to see more than these 3. SWR black beauty and Ampeg 115h are my choice for a standard small combo.

    Just a heads-up...
If money is a problem check out these Hartke's on the Sam Ash website. The 1410 2x10 and the 1415 1x15 - both 140 watts. They're going for $279 ea. Not a bad deal. I'm seriously considering the 1415 for a small jam and backup combo.
