Can someone tell me wich decade this bass is?

its latest the begining of the 80's, since this pic is somewhere around 82 - 83(its steve harris from Iron Maiden BTW :p)

it have been said that his main bass(wich is this) was an Precision from the 70's, but i'll see on the headstock that this isnt from the 70's :p
im thinkin its either an late 50's or 60's bass...

somebody care to help an sickly obsessed Steve Harris fan? :bag:

I think I've read somewhere that it's a 70's P that he uses....the Manchester colors. Could be wrong.

Yep, that's his #1 bass that's now white. More refin's than Pam Anderson's had plastic surgery.

I liked it when it was checker-board best. Lake Placid blue in 2nd. But yeah, it's a mid 70s I believe. An amazing bass at that...

I believe the bass is from '72.

But far more importantly - the colours are West Ham United!! :D

look at the headstock... it doesnt look like an 70's bass.. i always have seen tham as standing "FENDER PRECISION" allover the headstock...

    like this:

  7. Actually that WAS a different bass.. it had a rosewood board. There are a few pics of it on the net.

However that bass used to have a cool painting of "Fear of the Dark" album cover on it. He didnt have it long like that...but i believe that was the last paint job he had on it before it got refinnished to white.

By the way, that does say Fender Precision, just as it would from the 70s by my eye.

on that bass on that picture, yes, that was an example of an 70's, now, go look at the blue one, it looks like it have the same logo as the white/Black checkerboard finished one, and the checkerboard bass is from somewhere in the 50/60, or so i have heard...
