I know there's a lot of knowledgeable folks here on Fender. It's definitely not a player and the intonation is awful, but I think it has a place in my collection. Happy Holidays everyone!
Well, it looks like she's paying attention anyway! My wife got me a model Les Paul a couple Christmases ago. I have a Les Paul in a case somewhere, but you walk in "my room" and there are like 5 Fender (w/G&L) basses sitting around. I acted very pleased.
Again hard to tell. Check those serial #s, regardless-you better act like its been blessed (by somebody)
Fender logo is wrong, spacing is wrong, too many pickguard screws, headstock looks funny, not enough frets. But if it plays good, it is good.
Let me guess, you asked your wife for a 34 scale bass. I asked for a 35 scale bass, By that I meant 35 inches, not 35 millimeters!! Hey, at least you got a Fender, all I got was a Schecter Custom.
