Will a Hartke LH500 fit in an Aguilar AG 500/500SC Head Case?

    I am getting a Low Down Sound in black tolex with a fender grill cloth, so I thought the "Classic Black" Aguilar color scheme would match perfectly. Aguilar sells a rack case for the AG 500/500SC, which is a two-rack bass head. My Hartke LH500 is a two-rack-space head as well. I was wondering if the LH500 would fit in the Aguilar Head Case. The dimensions of the LH500 are 19" x 14.5" x 3.25". I'm guessin the LH500 is going to be too deep, but I just wanted to check.

    Also, one of the old Hartke HA3500 / 5000 head cases might fit.

    According to Amazon, the Aguilar head is only 10" deep, so I'm thinking the Hartke is gonna be a little too big. Couldn't hurt to call and ask the dimensions of the head case though.

    If the Hartke is 14" deep, I don't think it will fit. I have an AG-500 and it is indeed 10" deep and I don't think there is more than an extra inch of space in the head case. But hey, I don't think anyone will notice from the audience if the back sticks out a little. :)

    You could always get a DB750 head case and put a 1U piece of gear like a rack tuner or or power strip in there.

    Thanks for all the help guys, I might just go with a Gator Rack Bag.
    Not a bad thought, how deep are those?

    Anyone know if the ears on the LH500 are removable? I want a small micro amp, but the LH500 could work if It didn't have the extended front plate.

    Get a saws-all, they're removeable!
