Just wondering if anyone has tried this.
  2. If you're talking about Neutrik SpeakOn connectors, no, 1/4" cables won't work at all.

Or is it the kinda' jack common to Conklins? Do your Planet Waves
have that "compression spring" thingie? Here's a FAQ page that
    may help -- click.

FWIW, for the brief period I had a Conk GT-7, I used Monster
Cables...no spring doo-dad, but a hefty plug into the locking jack
    with no ill-effects.

Oops, I totally neglected this thread.

As you may know by now, Yes, It is the Conklin jack I'm worried about. I do not have a PW cord yet, as I'm not sure if the jack is compatible with the compression springs or not.
  5. No problems at all with them fitting. I started using PWs a couple of months ago. I bought the first because of the right angle plug on one end. They are pretty quiet and seem to be sturdy.

But to answer the question, yes it will fit.

I wonder why someone designed a cable that will not work on the barrel jack of several high end basses(Pedulla, Warwick, Peavey Cirrus)?
