I've had a bit of a financial windfall and I'm looking into getting a new rig, and this is what I've set my heart on.. Ashdown Mag810 http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?section=mag&ID=275 Ashdown Mag410 http://www.ashdownmusic.com/bass/detail.asp?section=mag&ID=24 Line 6 Lowdown HD750 http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~Line-6-Lowdown-HD750~ID~8917.asp I've tried the LowDown with my bass and loved every minute of it, so that choice is unlikely to change... I could be persuaded into spending more on the cab if the tone was there. (Ampeg springs to mind) These Cabs seem dirt cheap, which always worries me but my colleague owns an Ashdown ABM head through Ashdown Mag410 and a Mag115 and he seems to swear by ashdown, so Both Cabs use Speakon Connectors, but I'll be damned if I understand the slightest thing about Ohms or Wattage. For example, what would happen if I use a 750 watt head with 400/600/800 watt cabs? Would the whole world blow up? If I were to purchase the 810, would my 750 head provide enough power to really make it sing?
