I *love* this bass--it was my #1 for the last couple years.

But I've switched to short-scale 100% of the time now, so even old #1s need to go!

I've spoken with Will about building a short-scale neck for this, but I think it makes the most sense to sell it in its original configuration.

Very light w/chambered body, hand-made feel, super high-quality components, dual outputs for mags & piezo, great playability & variety of sounds. I love everything about it....except the 34" string length.

Pickups are Nordstrand hum cancelling J's--NJ4SE most likely, but might be NJ4SV. Acoustic pickup is Fishman Matrix bridge & Fishman preamp, the same bridge & pre that Rob Allen uses on his Mouse and other basses. Tuners are hipshot ultralights. Built by hand, quilted top. Condition is excellent, no issues. The acoustic output jack is ever-so-slightly mushed into the body (see photos), but operates perfectly. Light scratches here and there (it's been played!), but presents beautifully and works perfectly. 1.5" nut width.

Two independent output jacks: one is for the piezo bridge w/its own acoustic preamp & separate volume control, the other is a passive VVT setup for the Nordstrands. You can easily run the signals to separate amps/pres to get the best electric and best acoustic sound possible.

I had Will do a setup a couple years ago to improve the string-to-string balance on the piezo and on the mags. It's strung with TI flats currently, plays great, both outputs sound great!

Like I said, I love this thing, but I'm sticking to short scale, and this girl is kind of gathering dust. Will's prices currently start at $3K, and I'm guessing this one would cost more than that, since it's dual-source, chambered, and uses premium components.

I'd like to get $1650 shipped for it. I'm more interested in cash than trades, but I'd consider short-scale basses, MAS 1.8 cabs, and maybe guitars as partial trade. But cash is preferred.

I don't have a fitting hardshell case for it. I've been using a very clean Mono M80 bag with it, which I would include for $150 extra.

Bass is currently located in Sacramento with me. I'll be driving to Seattle in a couple weeks, so west coast delivery is a possibility.

Happy to show the bass--it's currently in Sacramento.

Trades: I'm looking for a Fender Acoustasonic Telecaster, or MAS 1.8 cabs
