Will Nordstrand NJ4 solve my problems?

Got a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass and looking to change the pickups.

What I'm looking for is the 60s vintage sound with distinct mid and chunky but clear lows.
I'm also tired of the volume and punch diff between the A/D strings and the E string.
Like now, if I play the E-string and then walk up to the A-string I loose alot of punch.
Heard that this is the signum of crappy pickups.

I've been looking at Lindy Fralins, Nordstrand NJ4 or Fenders Custom Shop 60s.
From what I've read so far the Nordstrand NJ4 will suit my needs best.

    Any comments much appreciated.

Btw, I'm in Stockholm, Sweden so any tip on who can ship em here would be great.

Another thing. My next bass will surely be a Fender American Deluxe Jazz Bass.
How's the pickups on that one? Will a pair of NJ4 boost that bass?
