Just wondering if any word has been heard about Sadowsky releasing a 4/5 string P Bass Metro anytime soon? I seem to recall some talk awhile ago, but nothing solid...
Maybe Im just dreaming but I seriously recall hearing this.

    Thanks for any Info

Roger Sadowksy is often seen on the boards, but he doesn't necessarily read everything. I'm sure if you would e-mail him and ask him, he would be more than happy to divulge any information he deems fit to share. (Unless he replies to this thread. ;))

Was some talk a week or two ago about it. He said way back when that there would be something with Precision pickups. He was unclear about the body style or neck shape though.

I thought about emailing but Im just "kicking the tires" at this point... I am sincerely interested though it would be a perfect compliment for my RV4 ...

So there was some talk about this... I figured I heard it here ...
Rereading that link now ... thanks "PinkTelephone"

BTW: I am hoping for a P bass Body, not a J.... although a P/J combo metro would certainly be tempting as well

  5. yea same, i was really hoping for just a straight up P bass

i'm not a big fan of Jazz basses, any part or them.
  6. I would definitely like to see a Metro P! That would be very cool.

+1 ideally the P would be an option on all the models (so I could get a UV75 with rosewood).

2 Pretty standard things (that I dont think would take away from his NYC line) that I would like to see in a new model Metro.

    1. P Bass (P/J on top of the P bass option Im not holding my breath on)

It seems that there's quite a demand for a Metro P or P/J with either a Jazz-style or P-style body. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Sadowsky unveils a few Metro P/J models in the future.
  14. If I could afford it, a P/J Metro would sure be nice.

What are the prices on the Metros compared to the prices of his NYC stuff? I've never really looked that far into Sadowsky's stuff.

    Metros - between $1800 - $2600
    NYC - starting at $3000 - up

Roger has prices on the metros on his site. You have to contact them for prices on the NYC basses in stock.
