Will this bridge repairment really work?

They should call their shop "Guitare Gar-bage"
  2. Nobody bothers to read all the posts before replying so you ought to update your first post at the start of this thread showing that the pictures are out of order and the repaired picture is the first one with saddles. The pictures without saddles and with the bridge up so high are the un-repaired "before" pictures.

Until you update your OP, you'll just keep getting responses saying the shop is terrible and the neck is jacked and they raised the bridge to compensate. It's the TB way :)

  3. Not trying to be 'snotty' here, but the OP said he happened upon these photos while browsing in someone else's website. I think for privacy's sake nothing should have been posted here. This might be a long drawn-out repair/fix and it's just in the beginning stages so glue or something is setting up. Anyway, without the permission of the repair shop, I don't think this should be posted. If this is not correct the OP needs to let us know he has permission to be in that website. JM2CW.

Well it's been determined already that the pictures are in reverse order, and the only fix needed was new saddles. But I do agree otherwise...bad judgment posting this thread just because of the people who won't bother reading anything but the first post.

All those pics are on their Facebook. Just misinterpreted by the OP and hence most people looking at the pics without an explanation.

This is the greatest 'Emperors New Clothes' quote of all time. Or possibly an alternate universe Python's black knight
    'Your saddles off'
    'No they're not.'
    'You've got no saddles'
'Sure I do! Have at you! I'm Fretless.'

I would put gummy bears under the strings. For a fix.

There has been a rash of bass bridge saddle theft, as of late.
  14. If the "repairment" is supposed to ruin the shop's reputation by showing the before and after pictures reversed, yeah, it'll do that. :banghead:

TBH I didn't even notice that there were no saddles on the bridge. I was concerning about the height of the bridge itself... but still qui
I'll do the update. TBH I didn't even notice the missing of the saddles. I was actually concerning about the 3 screws holding the bridge above the body.
  17. LOL! And who would want a bridge that's missing the bridge?
  18. It's a cross between a repair and and a replacement.
Cut the OP some slack. ESL.
