ok im running a vintage epiphone short scale thru a tech21 landmark 600 thru an ampeg pr-410hlf. im running both channels blended (sansamp channel & midsweep channel)

my e string sounds great & full. but the rest of my strings sound wimpy & dead. if i turn the mids up to boost the, it just makes the e string quacky. & if i turn up my low end it fills out but makes the e string too loud.

do i need new strings? or need to change the height of my pickups?

    HELLLLPPP

  2. If your E string sound the way you want try to raise the pick-ups closer to the other strings till they match the output of the e string.
