I have tried many different wireless setups with my bass and rig all of them seem to cut my sound quality. I play a warwick corvette pro(active pickups), through and ampeg svt4pro along with 2 hlf 4x10. If you have any suggestions please post them!

Also I have tried audio technia wireless, samson, shure ( uhf guitarist) and a few others...

    thanks

Its expensive, but the Shure ULX is great. Check into it at shure.com.

Even though it's supposed to suck, I've never had a problem with my Samson, True Diversity VHF setup...

I play my gigs through a Shure UHF guitarist wireless. A couple of days ago it's adapter broke down so I was forced to use a cable... Man... mucho better sound!! Damn, I want/need a new wireless system that doesn't mess with my sound and dynamics.

After having briefly tried a couple of different systems I suspect that - when compared to a quality cable - if you buy the most expensive one you can find you may get near the answer.

I didn't think you could get them anymore????

  9. No, they don't make them anymore.

However, you can still find them.

I don't see how it's possible to NOT affect your sound. I speak without experience, but unless you buy something super expensive, it seems you are just running an (low quality) A/D conversion step which can't help your sound a bit.

Even the best around probably degrades the signal to some extent.

    Thoughts?

I am not sure if that is true, I feel that my sound is better with my $750 wireless than my Monster Cable.
