My friend wants me to help him rewire his Stratocaster.

He wants to wire the neck single coil pickup only directly to the output jack. This will bypass all the knobs and pickup selector switch, and leave the other two pickups completely unused. He uses only the neck PU on this guitar with all the controls wide open.

I think this could be just a little bit complicated because as I recall, all 3 pickups in a strat are wired together. Can somebody explain this one for me or post a diagram?

    Nevermind, already figured it out.

Hot wire from pickup (white) connects directly to tip of output jack
Black wire goes to ring of output jack and to the bridge (ground)
