Wiring Dimarzio Ultra Jazz PUP: 3 way toggle>Volume>jack?

    Are there any diagrams that show how to do this? I'm doing this for my Ibanez because I thought about getting a Bart Pre Amp, but have decided not to.

    Also...

    Are there diagrams for wiring these pups..

    on/off toggle--on/off toggle--volume pot--jack

    ???

    All suggestions are welcome.

    FWIW:

    Don't know about anybody else but I don't understand what you're asking or wanting to accomplish. I'm guessing series/parallel/whatever using a single pup?

    Screw what I wrote in that post, what I was asking was this...


    Can I wire two Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pups, with one volume and a 3 way switch. The switch for, Bridge pup on/both on/neck pup on. And if there were any diagrams that show how to do it.

    Good news: I'm sure it can be done. Pretty simple layout.

    Bad news: I'm not the one to tell how to do it. There are probably not many diagrams laying about for you to copy exact.

    I don't use any onboard controls and I only wire onboard electronics when I have to for whatever reason. Then I sit down and figure out what it takes - which I hate to do. Then I rip it out when I'm done checking out whatever.

    Try guitarelectronics.com for their diagrams. Guitar/bass doesn't matter, wiring is wring. You'll may have to grab a couple three different diagrams to cut and paste to get what you want. Don't worry about the number of wires coming from a pups. Focus on a diagram for the switching combo with two pups. It will probably have two volumes two tones but you can just cut everything out but the one volume and paste it to the switching.
