I just bought a seymour duncan quarter pound for p bass pickup. I put it in my p bass and started to wire it but some of the wires got messed up and now I have a dilemma. I was wondering if the 3 little tabs on a pot that stick out on one side - does it matter which oner of these tabs you solder the wire onto? Is there a specific one that it needs to be soldered to or does it not matter? Please help! my bass doesnt work at all. By the way, I have a P/J config that I'm changing to a P config with one vol and one tone. I am getting rid of the other vol.
