I have a BC Rich Warlock bass (bronze series).. I was playing and went to turn the volume nob when, my bass just quit. I took the back plate off and noticed a wire had broken of its soder. The wire is black and comes out of the body with a white wire, (they are stuck together side by side. The wire is only long enough to reach the volume and tone nob, (barely reaches the tone nob). I think these wires come from the pick-up. Does anyone know where this wire is supposed to be attached to?
look for tell tale signs of solder lying around. But really, some sort of pic would really help, and if you dont have a camera, a tech can probably fix it with minimum cost and time.
Probably a ground wire - look for a piece of it, or a broken-looking solder on one of the pots where there may be other black wires soldered together.
