Hi guys have been referred here to ask for help !

I have inherited a custom headless bass project that needs wiring up but i am new to this and dont know where to start !

I have 2 large pickups - each pickup has a yellow insulated wire which contains a white insulated wire and a bare wire !

    The bass also uses:
    1 volume control
    1 tone control
    3 way switch !

Can anyone help me out with directions and or a diagram if possible ! I can provide pictures if need be !

Any and all help is much appreciated thanks for your time !

    Hi Rob,

    Here's the diagram vor V/T/3-way: http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=2h_1v_1t_3w
Doesn't matter that this is for guitars. Pots can be 500k or 250k. Depends on the PUs ...
    Singlecoils normally 250k, humbuckers 500k ...

Your bare wire is the bare (and green) wire in the drawing.
Your white wire is the black wire in the drawing.

As your PUs have no other wires, forget about the red+white wire in the drawing. These maybe inside your PU-covers (if your PUs are humbuckers).
