A mate wants to add a sub to his hi-fi. He had a 12" woofer lying around which lucky for me is still available in the shops so I was able to get the T/S parameters and knock up a (sealed) cab. The amp has enough speaker outputs free to run it but it doesn't have a sub-out or a crossover. Bi-amping is not an option.

With the help of the local electronics store, I bought the correct capacitors and inductors to make a 2-way passive crossover, 12db slope at 110hz.

I have 2 questions - Firstly how do I wire it up so it's a low-pass filter only.

Secondly, lets pretend I wanted to drive a midrange driver as well as the woofer and required a 2-way setup. How would I wire that up?

OK I've tracked down this diagram so I've answered my own first question.

I'm still struggling with the 2 way........
