Sounds great! They both put more meat in the sound and also make it growlier! Very, very cool!

    Thanks! ;)

    Bah, my mistake, wasn´t thinking!
Nope did not change the neck

    Here are da specs:
    Bartolini 57 J1 L/S (Long/Short)- 5 String J Bass Pickups (Set)
These are split coil hum-cancelling designs They have bright Neck tone and deep Bridge tone. These pickups are wound to yield much more "growl" from the Bridge pickup. They are very similar in tone to the old Bartolini 94J 4 string pickups, just ever so slighlty brighter at the bridge. Tonally, these have stronger lows and low mids than the typical "vintage" tone.

Did not find them on the rock...

I ordered them from bestbassgear here on TB!

    Excellent service and good price!

Thanks for the nice comments ya´ll! ;)

Hmmm, let's see, uh the lighting is different. One pic is horizontal, the other is vertical. I dunno, new pickguard?

    Uh, nice looking bass.:bassist:

  11. Do you still have the Barts in there?

Ohhh...... The pickups... I thought he changed the strings. :p

Chris, don't you think the better question with a TBer after 4 years is: "Do you still have that bass?" :D

  13. Yeah, I thought about that. I know how often I go through gear!
I did check his profile before posting, and it looks like he still has it. I am wondering about those pickups. I am looking at those Barts and have some questions about them.

Wow, never thought I'd see this thread again.

Yes, I do have the barts still in my bass :)

  15. Great! I just got the exact same bass, except for the 4+1 headstock. Did the Barts clean up the B string at all? How is the string to string balance?

  16. oh....i see, i see:hyper:, the pick-guard looks more......coloured :ninja:
    :D

looks cool with those barts. i love the look of the nordy ones ( those with diagonaled magnets...!
