Wood advice

  1. Anyone have experience with Oregon Wildwood? I just grabbed a couple tops from them. I was amazed. I got an email saying they added new tops (I've been waiting for one that speaks to me), and quickly got on their site and bought. Within a few minutes, all the new tops seemed to disappear. Is this normal? Is this a case of "you snooze, you lose"?

Great stuff, but it seems like you gotta be quick to get the really good ones.

They remove the listing when they sell out. They are an absolute delight to have as a vendor!

  3. Yeah, I've looked elsewhere and they have the nicest woods I've seen, and the prices are great too.
It really helped that I knew what I was after, but I'm really glad I'm fast on the computer.

    Have you seen anexotichardwood.com yet?

  5. Not yet. I'll check it out. I'm a novice builder at best, so I'm trying my hardest not to destroy any nice pieces, but I'll give it a gander. Thanks.
