Hi I noticed this today not much of a deal though but if the wait has put you off http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=915183952 AJ
Notduane, not to rain on your parade, but he was referring to a walter WOODS amp head. It is just a little bit different than tonewoods
Could anyone describe the tone of these amps in comparision to other well known amps? Eden SWR and Ampeg are sometimes good reference amps to compare others too. Peace Nick
Walters amps are well known for their ability to dail in the sound you want in just about any room. His pre-amps are second to none. Also for the gigging musician, The ultimate portability of these amps are their greatest feature. Prior to purchasing mine I called Walter and spent some time with him asking a lot of questions. He is very easy to talk with. IMO, This is something you should do. BTW, My amp took 6 months to build. Regarding the tone, It can be very clean depending on the cab you have. i.e. Bag End, EA etc. I have used mine thru a 8-10 SVT and find it as rich and warm as I like. The tough part about this is your looking at a very high cost amp. They are not at your local music store where you can walk in and try it out, You have to take a chance or not buy at all. Good Luck
Unless there was a price increase in July, The high Power is $1850 The Ultra High Power,(On Ebay) $2100.00
