Woofers in Bergantino Cabs.

    Hi! Does anybody know what type of woofers they use in the Bergantino Cabs?

    I do know know if all of Jim's drivers are made by Eminence, but I do know that at least some of them are. Of course, the drivers are made to Jim's specs, and are not "off the shelf" (not that anything is wrong with Eminence's "regular" offerings). I also know that Jim doesn't just throw one type of driver in all of his cabs. For instance, the 10" drivers in the NV610 are an entirely different design fromthe drivers used in the HT210S, etc. His crossovers are unique to each cab, too.

    Just curious as to why this (who makes Bergantino's drivers) is an important question. :confused:

    hey Gdub,

    i know you're coming from a "guitar guy" perspective (much like myself!), where amp makers sorta shove in whatever speaker they like into their cabs, but in the bass world, its standard practice for higher end boutique guys to roll their own.

    sorta wish guitar makers would follow that lead.
