I'm into my third week, working unload at UPS, and I've gone against everyone's reccomendation and unloaded trucks barehanded. Well, I'm finally able to do what I've not been able after two years of bass playing....develop callouses. I know it sounds stupid, but it feels so much better to play bass after handling 5000-6000 packages a night, then washing them.

just be careful, callouses may make it easier to play, but blisters make it impossible. If it's good for bass players, it must be great for guitar players.

  4. Well next time you see a driver hop out of one to deliver a package, just hop yourself right in, and off you go!
