Im buying a new amp and have have my heart set on a working mans 4004 head. Im wondering if somebody who has this head? Im also wondering what cab to get, either a 4x10 ot a 1x15? If somebody could give me some feedback on this head and what these two boxes sound like?

I don't follow the WM heads too closely, but I once played a gig through a WM 160 head and a pair of WM410s and was quite impressed.

As for the cabinets... I can honestly say that I've never played through a WM bass cabinet that I didn't like. The two 410s that I mentioned above and once through a WM115 cabinet at Guitar Center.

I thought the 1x15 sounded great as a stand alone. It does have a tweeter to assist with high end.

The 410 will probably have more upper mids (as 10s usually do) so it's really best that you try out both cabinets and listen for yourself.

Can't lose either way as far as I'm concerned!!!
