France and Spain have gotten a good draw. England has to be pleased. They could be through before they play Sweden. The USA have their work cut out for them, but it could be worse.

Argentina in the Group of Death again. Although, in looking twice, they don't have to play Holland until the end of the group. If they sack up, they can make that one meaningless. Just seems unlikely.

    Go Belgium!

    oh wait  :scowl:

  4. England by far has the easiest group in the field. Good thing they're not going through North Ireland again, right?

I'm pleased with the US draw. It wont be easy, but for anyone who thinks Italy or the Czechs can just walk over the US has got another thing coming. I'll be disappointed if we don't get past the group stage. I have a feeling it will be the US and Italy getting out to the knockout rounds.

US Better win the dang group. Second place gets the winner of the Brazil group...

Czech is good. Baros, Nedved are creative offensive players who can turn a game 'against the run of play'. Ghana went undefeated in qualifying. Itlee is Itlee.

The US better pack a lunch.

i think italy will walk over the US. But then again thats just me. I am really hoping they do as well as last year (if not better) but i think that many americans are all hyped up and i'm afraid that the team won't be able to finsh up to expectaions.

Thats all speculaton of course, as I don't even know who's on the US team this time around.

Ugh. England have an easy group, which means they'll get through... which means I'll be hearing about how the entire team are like olympian gods every day for a month.

Well, at least until they get completely owned by Brazil or something.

  9. Eh, not exactly group of death - as long as you can survive Brazil I can definitely see Australia getting through to the knockout stage.

Have you ever seen Croatia play?

  12. It's been a while....but yes, and while I think they're good, they're hardly unbeatable.

  13. I'm looking at the seeding and it really sucks to be seeded 2, 3 or 4.

Socceroos need to beat Japan, by a couple of goals would be nice, grab a point from Croatia, which is doable, and they're through.

    Could be much worse.

    Go Ukraine! Commie bastards

  19. If they get up by 1 or 2, they REALLY tighten up the defence and work as a cohesive unit. You gotta get 1 or 2 on them really quickly and they fall apart and start playing as individuals. Or so I've noticed.

  20. C'mon Trinidad & Tobago!
