Worth the hassle for the SVT 4 pro?

    SVT 4 Pro for this cheap ($250)....obviously I can't totally know how much it would cost to get working again, but would I be better off spending a couple hundred more on a still used but functional 4 Pro?

    Powers on could be a real good sign unless someone disconnected things inside so it would just light up. If you know basic amp repair it might be worth a shot. If you need to rely on trained personnel it could also be a $250. paperweight. You need a lot more information.

    Thanks! I don't personally but one of my band mates does know about amp circuitry and builds his own cabinets. So I may have him look into it as well. I'm now starting to think I probably don't need that undertaking and wind up possibly spending more on it than I want to.
