Im seriously considering getting an Essex now. That gorgeous natural :)

Im sure they'd fret this at little charge?

Also, how much does a setup cost?

If the Essex has the same type bridge as the fender jazz, the BAII should fit no problem. If you buy your BAII from a store who has a qualified tech, he will be able to notch the bridge and do a set up for you. Also figure in to your costs a new set of strings. It might cost as little as $20 for setup or as much as $50. Use your negotiation skills. :D
