Would a Marshall VBA 4x12 fit on top of my goliath III?

  1. Hello!

I'd like to add a sealed cab to my Mesa Bass 400+/SWR Goliath III (4 Ohm). I have heard the Marhall VBA 412 gives a nice vintage bass tone and it's sealed and I will be able to get one for a nice price.
The only thing that worries me are the dimensions of this cab.
They seem very different from the GIII.
I would like to put my second cab on top of the GIII not on the side, but would this be possible with the Marshall???

it should look like this: mesa bass 400+ on top of Marshall 412 on top of Goliath III

    thanks very much

Marshall's website provides the dimensions for the VBC412 cabinet, and I would imagine it's safe to assume that SWR will do the same for the Goliath... ;)
