  1. Well, in class we are doig lip syncs (dont ask me why, we just are) and my friend brought up a bass. I said "Hey man i didn't know you play bass" and hes like "I don't, drums is my main thing, my grandpa gave this to me, it basically just collects dust" and he knows i play bass so he says "I'll sell it to you for $100 bucks"

its a Peavey Dyna Bass 5 string. the bridge pickup is messed up and one of the tuners is broken. i was thinking maybe buy the bass and put in Bartolinis, some hipshot tuners, and get it set up real good.

but i have no idea how good the bass is, it felt real nice, but it had no strings on it at all, so i wouldnt know if it plays good or not.

is this bass any good? is this a good idea?
