Ok, I have my first bass, and turns out its really messed up(you cant blame me for not noticeing in the store, this is my first one, remember?). well, the strings were set way up, so someone who noticed that lowered them for me. then, they noticed that the neck is seriously bowed. if you look straight down the edge, it looks like someone just bent it. if i were to take it back where i bought it, would they adjust the truss rod for me for free? im afraid to try it myself. has anyone else had this problem?

It depends on the store. Some have a policy which alow for a free setup within 30 days of the purchase. Your best bet is to give them a call.

if you just got.. they should have done a proper setup on the bass for you. if they didn't. you should take it too them with your receipt and have them fix it for free
