WOW !!! Fender passive to active

    Wow!!
    People! I put an smtc2 of Seymour Duncan on my Fender MIA Jazz and ..... Great sound passive and active !!! I can get Jaco's sound and also great slapping tone with the slap contour knob!!!!
    I really love it !!!
    I'll put some mp3 example of the two different sound.

    ahahahahah

    i really like the seymour duncan active pre as well. i have the 3 band on my doubleneck, and it sounds awesome. that bass also has an active/passive bypass switch, and you can really tell the difference - it really evens out the tone from those lane poor pickups.

    smtc2? i have never heard of it. i heard about the stc2. can you tell me more about this one? and how much did you pay for it. tell me in italian liras.

    Yes I'm wrong ... it is the stc-2. I've bought it in a shop in Montebelluna (TV) and a local luthier have made the work for me!
    I've paid it 200.000 lire and 180.000 lire for the work cause he had to dig in the body of the Fender (sob :( ), but now i really enjoy it!
