To make a long story short. I just sold a P Bass, planned on using that money plus some other cash I planned on making during the summer to buy my dream Jazz. Well, my brother had other plans...He ordered the bass without me knowing, switched cases the before we left for the gig, and watched as I stood there looking like an idiot when I opened the case...Something I will remember forever....! The bass is a MIJ 75 Limited Edition with the matching headstock...

Wow! All my brother ever did was through drum sticks at me :bag: He scored direct hits on several basses.

What a great brother! You're very lucky. Your new bass is gorgeous. If it was a righty, I'd really be jealous! I love block Jazzes! The fact that it's got a matching HS is pure sex.

    Great brother, great bass. Congratulations.

  15. That's awesome... darn shame the bass is backwards :p

    :D

I once bought my bro a pretty nice Ibanez 7-string (back in the early 90's when such things were being used)

It was a real cool feeling to give such a nice present. So I imagine both of you are feeling great!

WOW! Thats proper super nice of your brother!

To go order one and sort it all out to actually be in your case when you got to the gig without you even getting a hint of it untill its go time is bloody lovely! He must think a lot of you to go do all that!

hope you bought him a drink :lol
