Wow, I kinda don't know what to make of this...

    I don't know what you're opinion of Behringer is; some folks have some mighty strong thoughts. But for less than $40, I will probably be getting one of these just to have a backup for my SABDDI.

    As for the DI box, whatever you like. I don't see how anybody with a remotely mid to high end bass would plug into something like that, but for bassists on a tight budget who gig a lot, or as a *very last resort* backup unit, where there is no possible way to get by without a DI, it could work.

    That said, from what I've seen I wouldn't buy a Behringer product based on the lack of quality design and innovation. There are some other great DI boxes out there to use as spares from Aphex, Radial, Fishman, etc. Heck, you can build your own using Jensen transformers for a small chunk of change as a spare.
