Well that didn't last long, it jumped up to $279...but thats overkill for a SX bass and a 15 watt amp...-.-

oh sweet, nice deal. They should do a 3 pack an name it the "big bottom pack"

  10. If they stil have em further down the road I might pick one up so I can have a p to fool around on (pbass gas lately) and a lil practice amp to move around the house (instead of a 4x10 ^_^)

I know how you feel about the huge beast to lug around Ty. I wish I had something smaller as well.

  12. I'm atleast getting rid of my big ole peavey head and replacing it w/ a GK700RB-II, so that'll help a little...and I mean a little.

Walmart sells basses and guitars too :rollno:

  14. Wow...$139!

Too bad I don't know anyone who wants to get into it:-/

  15. That is a good deal. I am not sure that "upper fret access" is its strongest selling point. I think the description reads verbatum to the original J bass ads. Not sure though.

I have the fretted one and love it. The sound is very bright and mid-ey. Some people like it some people don't.

  20. Hmmm.

    The address is actually http://www.rondomusic.net

For some reason the rondomusic.com address just points to the rondomusic.net address. Wierd but what isn't.

Frankly I really like the SX SJB 62 CT bass. I bought one a month or so ago and I really like it. It's well constructed, excellent feel to it and fun to play. It's also got a good tone.

Frankly if anyone wants a jazz clone, they should pick one of these up. Especially considering that the sunburst version has sold out.
