    yey!

    check out my new toy:

    http://sp8.fotologs.net/photo/24/26/127/dadode3/1134052053_f.jpg

    i got it for $ 80 !!!!

the guy at the store didnt even know what it was, he has a lot of BOSS and DOD pedals there that have been there for lots of years.

the pedal had a handwritten sticker that readed "kind of compressor for bass; regulets the attack with volumen and frequency. Eliminates unwanted notes, etc."

havent had the time to try it out a lot yet, so i cant make a review yet.

anyone there knows were i can find the manual? or the block diagram? or tell me tecnically how it works and what it does?

    thancks!

    It's a Boss Slow Gear.

For a review, look at the SV-2 (Slow Volume) from Guyatone, it's the same thing.

Basically, it's an envellope-controlled pedal volume.

Eliminates unwanted notes? Is this pedal psychic?

i buy it because it was 80$ ! i dont know if im actually going to use it or try to sell it or trade it.

the problem is that i live in uruguay and i cant ebay....

maybe the guy at the store try it out and saw that what it did was cut off the attack, so he though "it takes the lowder note" or something like it.... the description was sticked in a paper that seemed to be like 20 years old...

actually i may... ill try it out at full these days and ill figure it out if it suits my pedalboard, if no, ill try to sell it or trade it.

some questions: which are talkbass policities about selling items?

(oter issue is that i live in uruguay, to sending can be a little expensive)

Yikes! I was thinking "eighty bucks? What's the big deal!". Those things are going for insane prices!
