Most fretless fretboards I've seen tend to be rosewood, or something dark. Been snooping around on youtube and I came across this beauty: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4oCJSUWThnI

Makes me wish I could play better to justify buying it.

Wow, that is beautiful. Makes me wish I had enough money to buy it, screw being good enough. ;)

  3. The hardware needs to be black.

Gorgeous bass, but those flame lines on the board would drive me nuts.

On the fretboard? Really?! That's what I love about it!

  10. If you think flame would be crazy, this one is a little nuts, although fretted.

Lovely. Does that (the original posted) count as a "lined fingerboard"? :D

That video drove me nuts. My german is almost good enough to follow the fellow speaking, but I can't quite make out everything with him talking that quickly. Keeps making me want to rewind it and listen to everything again to catch the words.

Oh, the bass looks slick. The knobs are a little close together for my tastes, but it is probably still doable.

Ha! Good one. I suppose it is.

In another thread I posted people didn't undertand what I was talking about when I referred to a maple neck, asking me: "Aren't most necks maple?" (I meant fretboard.)

Gorgeous bass... I love the flames on the fingerboard.

Shame about the missing string, though.

yeah, I've stopped throwing out that comment....

The proper timer is "Fingerboard", but we all know what the OP meant.

I'm a stickler for language, so I accept the correction in good faith.

    Fingerboard it is.

Fingerboard or fretboard - it's pretty damn sexy!
