  1. I got the audio clips of his CD off his site, and I must say they are works of genius. They might not be for everyone, buy I gotta get that CD. The CD is called Space Island. He does excellent work with his 6 string NS EUB.

I have his Trios album, cool songs, cool guests.
It even has Les Claypool on it.
  3. No way really? Les Claypool? Sweet. I havn't heard anything off Trio's, but Space Island, I like! I need to go buy it. Have you HEARD his tone on track 7? That is just so neato.

"Trios" is ok. "Solo" is a better album, IMO.
  5. "Duets" is pretty good, too. :)
  6. I've got the Trios album.....it's okay.

I liked his playing on Lou Reed's Magic & Loss album.

I liked the "Duets" album, but I'm not a particularly big fan. His intonation bugs me. "Space Island" is pretty wack; there's more electronics than bass on that one.

I have Duets, and Trios. Both have some real gems, and some filler, IMHO.

I will agree that his intonation is a bit...creative at times. But, hell, he's better on a 6 string electric upright than I will ever be, so I am not going to judge.

Haven't checked out Space Island yet. My fave tracks on Duets, and Trios have been the ones with the guests, so I don't know if I would like overdubbed space bass, or not.
