Very cool links. Thanks guys. Any more examples? I like the idea of using maybe a classic album cover like Dark Side of the Moon. Any other thoughts?

I'm getting ready to wrap a bass with a vinyl car graphic.

I'll post pics when done, its a Mike Anthony tribute Jack Daniels bottle. I've got a thread in the LC, but I let it get buried cuz it has been a very long project.

Only issue is gonna be finding a compatible clear, if you're gonna go that route. I'm burying my graphic (the JD label) under clear, so I'm expecting issues.

Just wrapping a bass, the only issue is durability of the graphic.

I actually have a business acquaintance who will do this for me, I'm just wanting to see some examples. Anyone else?

I found my answer. Lacquer will NOT melt the vinyl as long as the first coats are misted.

BrokenCode, the JD bass is painted and ready for your graphic. Any pointers to make sure it goes on smoothly??

I'm gonna spray Minwax Polycrylic over the painted body before the label goes on, then nitro clear over the whole bass.

Hey man... Cant wait to see the final product! The digital print was laminated. I too have tried lacquer and nitro with no ill effects at all.
