Yes this is the same bass you may have seen here before, this is just a new, cleaner thread.......

This is a very beautiful 1997 Xotic XB2 5 string. It's somewhat unusual as it was built with set neck construction rather than using a bolt on neck like they do now.

    Here are the Specs:

    Body: Ash
    Top and Back: Burled Maple
    Neck: Maple
    Finish: Satin Polyurethane
    Fingerboard: Rosewood
    Scale: 34"
    Nut: Brass 1 13/16"
    Weight: 10 pounds 3.8 ounces
    String Spacing: Adjustable - 16mm to 20mm
    Bridge: Kahler
    Pickups: Custom Kent Armstrong
    Preamp: Xotic TriLogic
    Straplocks: Recessed Dunlop Style
    Case: Black Vintage Style HSC

This is a killer bass for just about any style music and with the Kalher bridge you can set the string spacing where you like it.

I have only seen one other Xotic XB2 with a set neck and it was a 6 string. You will likely never see another one of these.

$2,500.00 Shipped and Insured in the CONUS

    Trade Value: $3,000.00

A "longshot" trade deal is still in the works but I would much prefer a cash sale.
