This is one of the first Xotic basses Hiro Miura designed when he was in the USA. The bass was designed by him and built in Japan. It has the tri-logic preamp with Volume Volume tone with push/pull active/passive on Vol. 1 and push/pull series/parallel on Vol. 2. This bass just came back from Xotic Japan where it was overhauled. It now has the two switches for treble and mid boost in the front, the gain adjustment accessed from a hole in the cavity cover, and HRI installed. The HRI is installed in the control cavity and works better than most as it is dead silent no matter what selection you choose whether series or parallel and front or rear pickup. Not a sound!! It does have one blemish around the switches where paint has been chipped off. You can touch it up with a little matching paint if you want. It has a brand new Hipshot drop D tuner installed and is fitted with LaBella flats. Comes with the brand new Protec gig bag shown. Price is FIRM at $1650 + $85 shipping to CONUS. It is a Hum Reduction Inductor. This is a unit Xotic developed to reduce ir prevent the 60 cycle hum you get on a jazz bass when using one pickup alone. The hum is very common, but thanks to the HRI not on this one!!
