Xotic XJ Pro vintage 5er. Excellent condition, looks new and still has the plastic on the pickguard. Nicely set up with a low action. Big J bass tones and a passive mode. Very similar to a Sadowsky Metro in feel and tone.

    Nut width - it measures a fraction under 1 7/8" (1 27/32")
    String spacing - 18mm
    Weight - 9lb 8 oz

Comes in the Xotic branded gig bag.

    $1250 shipped and paypal'd.

    PM with any questions.

    Thanks for looking.

I didn’t realize these were imported. Similar to Lakland skyline?

Yes it seems the two companies have a similar business model. I had a Lakland Skyline JJ5 a while ago. Excellent bass. It was passive and I added a John East pre.

The Xotic has better tone than I remember the Lakland having. Better pickups maybe? Also the Xotic is 34" scale and the Lakland was 35". Both great instruments for not a lot of money.

Hi... Before I look into costs etc further, would you post to the UK?

  11. I like Lakland, but as a previous owner of several Laklands and Xotics, I'd much rather have this Xotic.

They are fantastic instruments. Good luck with the sale!
